Belmont Little League - Importance of Sponsorship
Belmont Little League has been providing youth sports to the Joliet community (and surroundings) since 1951. As a chartered member of Little League International, the league operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, operated by volunteers from the community. The league offers opportunities for children to learn our great pastime and provides enhanced playing opportunities for more advanced players.
Every year the Belmont Little League Board has the difficult task of prioritizing our expenses to be able to start our season. The general necessities like equipment, uniforms and insurances can be quite costly, and continue to escalate. The cost for each child various from $60 to $225 for season play depending on the age; we house roughly 100 to 200 youths on average and 25% are in need of financial assistance in order to play.
All of the financial assistance we receive for the spring season, will be used to help jump start our spring program. At Belmont Little League, No Child is turned away and definitely not because of their financial need, we feel that every child deserves the opportunity to feel accepted. This is our top priority to welcome every child to our league.
Our mission at Belmont Little League is to provide opportunities and exposure while competing at the highest levels in youth baseball and instilling discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty and integrity. We are dedicated to providing character building, courage and loyalty to the youth in our inter-city Little League baseball program.
We would appreciate you being a part of our success story by sponsoring this upcoming spring season.
